Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Simply download the app and sign in with your Google or Apple account. No separate registration required!

Is List My Closet free?

New users receive 3 free credits to try the app. After that, you can purchase additional credits as needed.

What platforms does List My Closet support?

We generate content that works with any marketplace, including:

  • Vinted

  • Poshmark

  • eBay

  • Facebook Marketplace

  • Depop

  • Mercari


Credits & Billing

How much does a credit cost?

Credit pricing varies by package. Check the app for current pricing by tapping your credit balance or visiting Settings > Top Up.

When am I charged a credit?

You're only charged after a listing is successfully generated. If the AI fails to identify clothing in your photos, you won't be charged.

Do credits expire?

No, your credits never expire. Use them whenever you're ready.

Can I get a refund for unused credits?

Please contact us at hello@hoftware.com for refund requests.


Creating Listings

How many photos should I upload?

We recommend 3-5 photos per item:

  • Front view

  • Back view

  • Tag/label close-up

  • Any unique details or flaws

Why is it important to photograph the tag?

The tag helps our AI accurately identify the brand and size. Better tag photos = more accurate listings.

How long does processing take?

Most listings are ready within a few minutes depending on capacity. You'll receive a notification when your listing is complete.

What if my listing fails?

If the AI can't identify clothing in your photos:

  • You won't be charged a credit

  • Try again with clearer photos

  • Make sure the item is clearly visible

  • Ensure good lighting


Photos & Images

What image formats are supported?

We support JPEG, PNG, and HEIC formats.

How many photos can I upload per listing?

You can upload up to 5 photos per listing.

What's a "styled image"?

Our AI creates a professional lifestyle image showing how your item looks when worn. This helps buyers visualize the piece and typically increases engagement.

Can I download the images?

Yes! Tap the download button on any listing to save all images to your photo library.


Account & Privacy

How do I sign out?

Go to Settings and tap Sign Out.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings, tap the menu icon next to your profile, and select Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.


Troubleshooting

The app is slow or not responding

Try these steps:

  1. Close and reopen the app

  2. Check your internet connection

  3. Update to the latest version

  4. Restart your phone

My photos aren't uploading

Make sure you have:

  • A stable internet connection

  • Granted photo library permissions

  • Too many listings already in-flight

  • Available credits

I didn't receive my credits after purchase

Purchases are usually instant. If you don't see your credits:

  1. Hard close the app and open it again

  2. Wait a few minutes and check again
